The first meeting

The first meeting can take place before or after your baby is born in the initial days or weeks.  Ideally though we will meet before the baby arrives.  This meeting can take place in your home with your partner or a close relative or friend.

The discussion at this meeting will be to discover what is a priority for you in terms of what you need from me.  From this we can discuss what package suits you best, agree the hours and days to be worked, the terms and conditions including payment, explain about my gift vouchers and any other issues you think are helpful for me to know.  The fee for this meeting is included in each package.

The first visit

In the early days with a newborn, life is all about learning - learning your baby's cues, learning to sleep in a new pattern, learning about your new identity as a mum and possibly learning how your new baby fits in with your other child/ren and busy life.

My first visit will entail working with you and being your extra pair of hands to help and ears to listen.   Life with a newborn doesn't always go to plan. Being able to respond to whatever needs to get done in order to support you will be my number one priority.

Ongoing visits

Each visit will comprise of the aspects listed on the page "What is a Postpartum Doula".

There may be an appointment you would like me to attend with you, you may just need your sleep while I watch your precious baby, have a bath or shower, sit and talk about your birth and your feelings about being a new mum, prep a meal for that nights dinner, give you information on breastfeeding options and much more.

I tailor each visit to your needs.  I am here for you so you can take the time to fall in love with your baby.

A Bespoke Package to suit you

The five packages shown here are some of my more popular packages and so have changed and developed to reflect mums preferences.

If you don't find what you are looking for in terms of hours or budget don't let that put you off.   I can create a bespoke package to suit your needs.

Should you need to extend any package that is possible too.
